In March this year I suffered serious injuries to my right hip and femur, the result of which I ended up being operated on and subsequently cared for by Mr. Hanna and his team. At all times I found him to be a consummate professional medical practitioner, in possession of a friendly and informative "bedside manner", and a genuine concern for my progress back to health.

Throughout my association with Sammy Hanna I have been thoroughly impressed by his surgical skills, his explanatory ability, and his personable and approachable nature. I presented for a left side total hip replacement. At the preliminary consultation Sammy explained clearly how the osteoarthritis in the hip had developed and made the comparison with my good hip. He explained that he would provide me with a non cemented prosthesis as my bones and muscles were strong and this type of implant which permitted the bone to grow back round it would for me be most appropriate. After surgery Sammy visited me twice in my room at the surgical centre. He reassured me that all had gone well, repeated to me what he had done, and assured me of an excellent prognosis. I have just returned from a follow up appointment a month after surgery. Again Sammy took great pains to explain my pre and post operative xrays. He dealt with my queries expertly and I have come away feeling confident that my recovery is progressing better than expected. Overall I can confide that my treatment from Sammy has been outstanding and of the very highest quality. I feel extremely fortunate to have had him as my consultant.
